NSMHA Planning Committee

The Planning Committee’s responsibility is the preparation of the NSMHA for the future mental health illness treatment and recovery/resilience needs of the citizens eligible for Medicaid within the North Sound Region, as well as, anticipating trends in the community mental health illness treatment and recovery field. Major focuses in planning shall be around region-wide crisis services, services to adults and/or families with children who are Medicaid eligible, services to adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses and children with serious emotional disturbances and/or mental illnesses, and to low income people.
