Where can I find jobs and job listings?

https://fortress.wa.gov/esd/worksource/ This is the website of WorkSource - Washington State’s employment service.  You can search for jobs in your area or anywhere in Washington on line.  In addition, through this website you can connect to the classified ad sections of many of the newspapers in Washington State. 

If you want to visit a WorkSource office there are two in NSMHA’s region.  They are:

A website for job seekers who have disabilities can be found at http://www.disaboomjobs.com/  The site has job listings by local areas, listings of local businesses that want to hire people who have disabilities and articles on job searching and alternatives such as self employment and telecommuting.

Think Beyond the Label has established a website which  lists jobs posted by employers that seek applications from people who have a disability.  The site is at: http://www.thinkbeyondthelabel.com/Job-Board/Job-Board.aspx

http://www.indeed.com/ This website is a nationwide service.  Enter your town and the type of job you are seeking to get a listing of jobs in your area.  You can also post resumes to this site.

Another website with job listings and detailed descriptions can be found at http://www.simplyhired.com/

http://nbdc.com/job_seekers.aspx On this site you can find advice on searching for a job, links to job listing websites and a place to post your resume for potential employers to see.

This site does not have any lists of job openings.

The website at http://myemploymentoptions.com/work-at-home-jobs/ has listings of jobs that people can do from home. This website is run by an Employment Network which accepts people's Ticket to Work and is paid for by th eFederal Government to help you find employment.

http://nticentral.org/work-at-home-jobs-disabled.shtm This website links people to jobs that they can do from their homes. The agency behind the website is a non-profit organization that serves poeple who have disabilities.
