Program for Assertive Treatment RFPNovember 3, 2006 The North Sound Mental Health Administration is proud to announce the release of the 2007 Program for Assertive Treatment (PACT) Request for Proposals (RFP). The PACT will be implemented in one of five counties in the North Sound region. The PACT is an Evidence-Based Practice with an overarching goal of providing eligible consumers with housing and coordinated support services to enable them to live in the community in the least restrictive environment, with minimal dependence on and use of the public safety and acute care resources. The PACT target population is persons who have the most severe and persistent mental illnesses, have severe symptoms and impairments, and have not benefited from traditional outpatient programs. This is a great opportunity for our region to reach out to persons who have been difficult to engage in traditional services and to provide a continuum of care that will enable them to move forward in recovery. Below is the proposed schedule for the RFP process.
For clarification on the schedule please feel free to contact NSMHA, however we will not be answering any questions prior to the bidders conference on November 13, 2006. We look forward to the process and the implementation of a PACT program in our region. Downloads:
